Every goal getter has a driving force,so what is your force ?still on biblical personality.

Mary and Joseph,both had one common goal to parent Jesus from the pregnancy stage down to delivery. It did not end there,they continued parenting from the infant level until He was due for His own purpose.
One thing we must know is ,it was never an easy journey for them ,think of what they had to go through individually.for Mary,think of the names she will be called ,the humilation she had to face,her own parental huddle she had to cross and the public she had to conquer.still she was not perturbed about it ,she only had one thing in mind,which is running with the purpose(goal)of bringing  the saviour of the universe to life. until Jesus was ripe for His earthly assignment to redeem man kind.Joseph had every right as a man to call off the marriage engagement allowing her to face the disgrace alone,and escape from every name tarnishing from the public.because he was a man of purpose as confirm by the angel who visited, he decided to share in the public mockering.they had to be on the run to see the purpose been fulfilled even when different death threat came.they had to live a low life for them to reach their goal. And it was instrumental in Jesus earthly ministry.most importantly they were following the leading of God .which is the ultimate in every of goals setting and achieving .note the race is not for the swift nor mighty but is of the Lord that shows mercy.they could have decline, but they were running with a word delivered to them .the question this morning is ,are you running with a word ,when distractions come knocking ,what word will you fall back to for encouragement and focus.every goals ,if must be reached ,must have a driving force.you can't take away the place of God in it,except you don't want the longevity of it.so pursue your goals with the right word.
