Power of Diligence in Pursuit to Your Goals
To see goals(purpose) achieved or fulfilled,there are some many sacrifices to be paid.like the popular saying that,Rome was built in a day.which means ,Rome was once a goal for someone or certain people to build and i beleive it took a lot of sacrifises to build the Rome that we see today.everybody wants to set goals,but not everyone once to pay the sacrifices that goes with it.
And someone would ask,what is that sacrifise?is it some sort of rituals or what?far from it,it is definitely not.what I'm talking about here is the sacrifice of Diligence.then what is diligence?it is the determination,perseverance or conscientiousness,when doing something.this is really a lay man definition of diligence.people set goals and they not determined to fulfill it.just one or two challenges,they give up.they don't want to even persevere,they wants it sharp,sharp.scripture puts it this way."seeths thou a man diligent in his work,he shall stand before king's and not ordinary men.a light?yes definitely,do you what to achieve your goals?then be diligent.as simple as it sound,it is very difficult to engage.
Now,I really want to talk about someone,a legend who passed away in the basketball world this year.talking about the person of late Kobe Bryant.he entered the world of basketball at a tender age,played and dominanted high school and college basketball.with lots award and records and moved into the NBA at age eighteen(18).even at that age,he was a force to be reckoned with.he played all through his career,won NBA titles and awards,won FIBA titles and awards,won global recognition,FIBA ambassador, series of endorsement and so on and forth before he retired honourably.do you for any reason think he boarded a very high tech private jet to get that height? certainly no.blood,sweat,tears,pleasure,series of personal isolated training went on for this purpose.he was a diligent man not just to his pursuit,but also to his family,friends and teammates.he paid a lot of sacrifises of which diligence is of top ranking .even when he retired he was still determined to see the game of basketball be improved not just in the USA but around the world and he was loved by all.even in death,he was famous.should we say,Kobe lived a fulfilled live?yes he did ,even if it was a short time,he affected lives all over even here in Nigeria.that is the power of diligence.
