An Interview Session With Coach Sunny Abel.
Hi everyone, and happy mothers day to every mother out there. Indeed you all are one in a million and a rare gem to find, love you all.
Please read the interview session I had with a grassroots developmental coach at Deeper Life High school, The current head coach of Benson Idahosa University, The founder and coach of High Flyer Basketball Team, Effurun Army Barracks. A Graduate of English and linguistics, in the person of Coach Sunday Abel.
This is what he mumbled, of how the lifestyle of a goal-getter should subsist.
According to his response, every goal(purpose) getter should have these benchmarks, which are Humility, Focus, Drive, discipline and principle.
He said for all goals to be fulfilled, one needs to run with all modesty, no proud and arrogant personalities can never stand the test of time. Check out those who in one way or the other has this bad trademark of pride on them, they end up limited.
Of course, all-purpose getters must be extremely focused, thereby taming distractions, any goal-getter who is not ready to pay the sacrifice of focus is not ready to fulfil or accomplish his or purpose.
He also said, as a goal-getter, you must have the drive, because it enables you to feel less impact of the challenges, you will face, in your pursuit of purpose thereby bringing it to a well-deserved accomplishment. Drive enables you to face your fears without the perception of the consequences.
Talking about discipline, he said discipline is at the centre of all of these characteristics, it takes discipline to be humble and in other words, you can be humble and not disciplined and at the same time, you can be disciplined and not humble, so, therefore, both go together. It also takes a disciplined individual to drive well in his or her pursuit of purpose. A great concentration is birthed by an act of discipline.
What is it that guides you in your journey, that is where principles come in, you can't just live a normal life or run a normal race, expecting to end well, every principled individual always focuses and precise in all of their handlings and conducts.
So all of this should be the standard of a goal(purpose) getter. According to Coach Sunday Abel.
